While our goal is to serve our guests with the best experience possible, these policies help keep every trip safe and enjoyable.
By booking and paying for a charter, the individual making the reservation (“Booking Party”) acknowledges and agrees to these terms on behalf of themselves and all participants.
1. Booking & Payment Policy
A deposit is required to secure all charter bookings. The remaining balance is due at the time of the trip unless otherwise agreed upon in advance.
Failure to arrive at the scheduled time, or failure to communicate delays, may result in cancellation of the trip without refund.
The Booking Party is responsible for confirming the number of participants prior to the trip. Pricing and vessel arrangements may vary based on group size.
2. Cancellation & Refund Policy
No refund will be issued if the customer cancels the trip.
A partial refund may be issued at the sole discretion of the Captain in certain circumstances.
A full refund will be issued if the Captain cancels the trip prior to departure.
Once the trip has begun, no refunds will be issued for any reason, including early termination due to participant behavior, weather changes, or other conditions.
3. Safety & Assumption of Risk
All vessels, bows, and equipment are routinely inspected and maintained. Participants understand that bowfishing and boating involve inherent risks, including open water, changing weather, marsh environments, wildlife, and archery equipment.
All passengers voluntarily assume risks of injury, loss, or damage to the fullest extent permitted by Louisiana law. The Booking Party accepts these terms for all participants and is responsible for consent and supervision of minors.
4. Alcohol & Intoxication Policy
Guests may bring and consume alcohol, but safety remains the highest priority. The Captain and crew have sole discretion to determine whether a participant is impaired or unfit to participate safely.
A charter may be modified, suspended, or terminated for intoxication or unsafe behavior. No refunds or discounts will be issued in such cases.
5. Captain Authority & Conduct Policy
The Captain and crew maintain full authority over the charter. All participants must follow their instructions. Unsafe, reckless, or disruptive behavior may result in removal from participation or termination of the trip without refund.
6. Weather & Conditions Policy
The Captain determines whether conditions are safe. If conditions are unsafe before departure, the trip may be rescheduled or refunded in full.
Weather or environmental changes after departure may require modification or early termination. Refunds are not guaranteed and remain at the Captain’s discretion.
7. No Guarantee of Catch
Bowfishing is influenced by weather, water conditions, and natural wildlife patterns. Every effort is made to provide a successful experience, but no number or type of fish is guaranteed.
Agreement Acknowledgment
By booking and submitting payment, the Booking Party acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to all Policies & Terms on behalf of all participants in their group.
